Today has been very easy; working on various "projects" and leaving at 3:45 to meet the school tour group.
I was going to dress casual today but instead decided a ponte knit sheath dress sounded just as comfortable. This dress is very comfy and this is the first time I've worn this jacket. The jacket is an extremely light summer-weight cotton jacket I found at the Kenneth Cole outlet for about 20 bucks. I was going to wear coral wedges with this but I didn't realize that the skirt is a little short for work, so flat shoes were much more appropriate!
Dress: Banana Outlet, $24
Jacket: Kenneth Cole Outlet, $20
Shoes: Bandolino, $19
Watch: MK
Okay- disclaimer: the dress looks much shorter in these pictures than it really is! I think it's the way I have my knee bent in each one! It's work appropriate, I swear!!!
This is my chronicle of what I am able to do with just the things I already own. I am attempting to create real world, professional, but fun, outfits using what I already own; basically shopping in my own closet.

Yesterday WAS a long day!
But, I got to sleep in a little thanks to Jackson's annual vet appointment this morning, so that eased my tiredness a little. Today and the rest of the week will be somewhat slow (hopefully in terms of work stuff, but not speed!) I'm just excited about Destin and ready for it to be here- but not too quickly, gotta relish in the waiting a little! 25 days, but who's counting? ME, that's who!!
My outfit today:
Pants: Old Navy, 100 years ago
Top: Banana, $13
Cardigan: East 5th, JC Penny Clearance, $7
Shoes: Nine West via TJ Maxx, $20
I'll be even more casually dressed the next two days; just don't feel like really getting dressy this week! (maybe it' my lack of energy from not eating a lot of carbs!!)

Another Busy/Long day
Springtime in this job is the worst. We have so many programs and crap things to do... today is another one of those days. We have a stupid program tonight that 3 of the counselors (myself included) do nothing for, have no responsibilities for, etc, yet we are expected to go. So, I'll be running home at lunch today to let Jackson out, and I'll be here until about 6:30 this evening. Don't even get me started :)
My outfit today:
These pants are actually part of a suit set; I'll add the jacket to the ensemble for the event this afternoon. I bought this suit set when I was still living in Bossier and have yet to wear it because the pants had always been too tight. They fit now! Yay!
Pants: Atelia, via SmartBargins (I think I paid $60 for the suit)
Shirt: NY & Co, $13
Vest: Old Navy Clearance, $9.99
Shoes: New Directions, Marshalls, $20 Tan with pink accents :)
Almost every picture I took today was blurry!! Ugh!

Good Weekend!
Enjoyed a great weekend one-day show with Mom and Kramer... Here are some shots from Jackson, MS:
Mom posing with a mouthful of salad... hee hee
Doing what I do best!
Kramer ready for his bedtime snack
Waiting patiently
Mom getting ready
Pretty boy!
Finding something to occupy his mouth
Waiting for the warm-up
No actual riding shots, as I was much too focused to play photog!

Ready for the Weekend! One more day...
TGIW.... and a short week. I'm just ready to head to Jackson to do a quick show with Mom. And ready to get out of this office!!!
Yesterday I did the Physique 57 video and as usual, it kicked my booty. At least today I'm not super sore. However, I'm sure whatever workout I end up doing tonight won't be a ton of fun.
My outfit today started as a different dress; however, when I put it on this morning (haven't worn it yet) I realized it was a bit tighter than I realized it would be... quite form fitting and frankly I'm not in a form-fitting mood.
So, I swapped it out for this dress which is quite a bit looser and more comfortable. Comfort seems to be a trend lately! The little pop of orange-red with the tank matched the other dress, but I decided to leave it on for a pop of color with this one, plus it matches my toes! :)
Dress: NY& Co, Clearance Online, $9.99
Sweater: Daisy Fuentes via Kohls Clearance, $8.99
Shoes: Nine West via Marshalls, $29.00
